Undercover Officer/Confidential Source Rescue is a three-day course consisting of classroom lecture, force-on-force scenarios, hand-to-hand fighting skills training and table top exercises. The course is designed to enhance the officer's skills in the extraction of an informant or undercover officer when an operation has turned bad.
The student will learn the operational planning and how to apply tactical briefings to the operation. The student will be instructed on making personnel and equipment assignments, identify primary and secondary points of entry and evacution for buildings and vehicles, have a medical plan and will instructed in team entry techniques and tactics as well, along with vehicle assaults and rescue.
None - CID - Special Operations or Narcotic Detectives preferred
Equipment needed:
Force-on-Force (pistols or rifles) weapons and ammo, Force-on-Force protective gear, all gear/equipment issued for tactical operations (heavy vest, duty belt, etc.) comfortable clothing for fighting skills.
