Dr. Cohen specializes in human resource management and organizational behavior. She develops and conducts leadership development workshops and programs for law enforcement executives and local government employees across the United States. She also teaches academic courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Dr. Cohen received her B.A. in Psychology and her M.A. in Organizational Sociology from Bar-Ilan University, Israel. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Dallas. She has published peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. Dr. Cohen is an affiliated faculty member with The Institute for Law Enforcement Administration (ILEA) in Plano, TX, The Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas (LEMIT) in Huntsville, TX; and The Law Enforcement Executive Program (LEEP) in Raleigh, NC. She is also the nationally elected District V representative for the National Council of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) and the Book Review Editor for the premier journal in public administration, Public Administration Review (PAR).
