This course is designed to introduce the officer to the advantages and disadvantages of the mini red dot sight on a pistol. Officers will be trained on how to find the dot with an index draw, aquire the dot quickly during multiple round strings of fire, shoot from awkward positions, deal with the optic in the rain, and practice in lowlight.
Approximately 400 rounds will be fired in the course.
Officer will need:
Handgun with optic mounted by the rangemaster.
