DESCRIPTION

Patrol Rifle Refresh and Qualification is a 8 hour block of instruction on the AR15 patrol rifle.  This course will refresh policy, fundamentals of marksmanship, ballistics, rigging the rifle, reloads, malfunction clearance, alternate positions, shooting on the move, and low light operations.

The officer will qualify with their rifle during the course and be able to carry it on the street on their successful completion.

Required Equipment:

  • Rifle
  • Three 30 round magazines minimum
  • Rifle sling
  • Weapon Mounted Light on rifle
  • Cleaning Kit
  • Duty handgun and leather gear
  • Flashlight
  • Notebook and pen
  • Inclement weather gear

PREREQUISITES

Previous Patrol Rifle Course #3322 or equivalent.
