This course will introduce the SRO to the rifle and get them qualified in the first 16 hours. The last 8 hours will involve precision engagement during tight time constraints, moving targets, and Force on Force.
SRO will need handguns, 3 magazines, duty gear, armor, hand held light, weapon mounted light, if equipped, and inclement weather clothing. SRO should have long sleeves and something to protect the groin available for Monday afternoon FoF training.
Dept will provide a properly set up rifle, 3 magazines, 800 rounds of ammuntion, and duty ammunition for issue after the class.
