This is a 16 hour specialized class for Street Crimes Units, Patrol Officers and Highway Interdiction Officers. If you make traffic stops, this class will help you understand the benefits of pro-active police work. The objective of this course is to educate law enforcement officers in proper techniques and procedures to successfully and lawfully conduct criminal interdiction patrol stops.
This class is not based on theory or old school techniques: it is based upon current successful operations. This course will address the different types of criminal activity an officer may encounter on traffic stops, as well as, drug and contraband smuggling. This class will train officers to look beyond a citation.
